Day 1 of 12 of our trek to Everest Base Camp. Our journey started with taking the worlds smallest plane to Lukla Airport. This airport is situated on the side of a mountain, 2900m above sea level with a runway only 600 meters… oh ya & then it drops right off a cliff.
